About Us
The Cumberland View newspaper
is located in Monteagle, Tennessee. The Cumberland View provides
insightful views, upcoming events and informative news about the
Cumberland Plateau and surrounding communities. We also provide news from Washington,
D.C. and Tennessee.
The Cumberland View services
the communities of Monteagle, Sewanee, Pelham, Kimball, Tracy City,
Coalmont, Altamont, Palmer and Beersheba Springs.
The Cumberland View is a member of the Southeastern Advertising Publishers Association and
is published twice monthly during the first and third week of each
month.
The Cumberland View is provided as a free
service to the public. We receive no grants or financial support from
any outside private, public or governmental organization. The View’s
only source of revenue is from display advertising. We have over 5,000 loyal readers. Our readers
appreciate the information that we provide and they fully support our
advertisers.
The Cumberland View is published in a 6 column
newspaper format. The overall
page size is 11-1/4 inches x 17-1/2 inches with a total printable area of
10-1/4 inches x 16-1/4 inches per page. Each column is 1-9/16 inches wide with
a 1/8 inch gutter between columns.

Distribution
Over 5,000 copies of The Cumberland View is
distributed
twice each month to thousands of local households via Direct Mail and Direct Distribution.
We also mail subscriptions to customers in over 20 different states.
Advertising
Advertising is available for either The
Cumberland View printed newspaper or The
Cumberland View website or both. While
advertising may be purchased for almost any
size, most use one of the common sizes
already available and listed in the layout
